Too many heavy meals and drinks in the past holiday, need to stay low abit...I really think the combination of the new body with the new pancake lens does look .... Ugly, but I blame the lens entirely, I understand the practicality argument for pancake lenses, but really, if you are trying to promote a new product, asthetics is a huge part of capturing a new audience favourably...
I knocked this out in photoshop (gimp technically) in about 5 minutes.. I think the body looks kick ass with a normal lens on it... (excuse the rough photoshop work)

Coming from a NEX user, I love this camera. I even find some K1000 elements to it. It's almost a dream come through. Frankly I was amazed when people were buying retro looking cameras for "the look" I only hope an EVF is eventually available for it. Emjay,let's get this preorder going. I'm in! Looks like my DA40 and KX are going on the B&S

Honestly... ANYTHING other than the ugly flat thing they have been promoting will 1.) look a million times better and 2.) will work ! Even cooler. ;-)

To me its a really positive with these picts.
No other brand has so many small lens at the right form factor at launch for their MILC.
