Dear all season travellers, I am thinking of taking a prolong holiday (3-4 months) to cover Eastern, Central Europe and Scandinaval. I know Eurotrains is probably the more affordable way to move from countries to countries. How about accomodations, food, tickets to places of interests and entertainment? Any suggestions on how to go about maximising such a trip on a shoestring budget.

Well, I find bus cheaper, but my travel is the on-the-whim kind; ie go slow, possibly stay long at one place, and decide where next the day before etc
If you're up to it, u can try hitchhike as well
Accomm - couchsurf
Food - supermarket/selfcook
Tickets - get student card somehow.... and/or go free attractions
