I am thinking whole day or half day rates.

Using pics from CATS Car-nival and SITEX as example.

Those that won contests.

or even all. Would it be more time efficient if go through modelling agency? How do these agencies charge? Can recommend top 3?

Thanks in advance.

Edit: is there such a thing as a listing for models with their rates and current pics other then the ones in CS?

they're NOT models. they're called TALENTS.

because they don't have what it takes to be real models.

don't be fooled by the CS XMM photoshoots.

LOL you do mean "list of agencies NOT to work with" right :bsmilie:

I dont know. Rates are rates but as long they have what i need and the price not too reasonable. Any of the agencies in the list established very long?

Well believe it or not just about everything is "price fixed" even to the extent of how many students will get A*. If too many then moderation comes into play which i think is illegal since it contravenes the examinations requirements for the grade. If you score A* then should get A* rather then A due to moderation which did screw up a couple of times over the years. For the sake of exam students, if you believe you got an A* then bloody hell pay to have the paper remarked in which case the moderation usually is reversed.

So basically, just have to make the best of a price fixed environment. On that note, i am still waiting for any organisation to demand Apple open up OSX to everyone`s hardware rather then make it proprietary and thus control prices.

Carrie models...okay, got it.

Sorry, but I totally lost you there.

Btw, I am running snow leopard on a self built machine. You don't have to wait. You can do it.

Better that then to be the worst customer in every business`s list because when something is needed and urgently, does help to be on kopi terms with the business.

That philosophy saved me quite a number of times since i am in the IT line and by extension improves my reputation as the Goto guy for projects.

Reportage,

You're mixing 'fixed pricing' and 'price fixing' which is also known as cartel practices.

Price fixing is where merchants get together and agree on a pricing (usually to the detriment of the consumer). It essentially eliminates competitive pricing. Price fixing is anti-competitive and is illegal in most countries, illegal as in there is a law prohibiting this. Singapore has recently adopted this.

If you're going to tell us that you understood it in the first instance, I will keep clear of you.

May I commend you of your great eyes for models. Hope that you also have steady hands to shoot them. :bsmilie:

Well, I would say...

I do not know what sort of competition these "ladies" could win, but the going rate for similar-looking "talents" might be 30-50 SGD at Geylang. :bsmilie:

This is more the "well established" CS XMM. maybe 200-300 per shoot:

This is the fresh, new-to-the-scene CS XMM model. TFCD or maybe 50-100:

Secondary school or early poly. TFCD or "for exposure" is the usual nonsense:

FYI, none of these is a model. They are, at best, "mollers", "talents", or "girls with long legs or other assets".

Maybe uncle wants to show us the way?

What about this Saturday night? :bsmilie:

Wah, you so interested arh?
