having a headache. my brother introduced this girl to me who wants to buy a brand new D5000 body only with "i've got no idea what lens to get with it". must be new.

"my budget is $1,300...."

i'm like... speechless? no matter how much i show her links to BNS with newer and better models though second hand she's adamant... OMG people who ask for advice and never take it... HEADACHE!

she wants "professional quality" as well as "not heavy"....

headache headache headache..

how to even tell her that she needs money for a bag, tripod, cleaning kit etc...

oh and... she insists on going to the IT Show to look for either a brand new D5000 or A550..

Haha normally this kind very hard to advice one lah, somehow when i tell my newbie friends that pentax cameras(Kx, Kr) are a good start for them they give me the "what the hell is that look" the prefer to hear the highly advertised brands like the usual C,N,S

i showed her a link comparing the D5000 and A550 and she went.. "is the A550 still available?" i told her it's not sold anymore..
