i do enjoy the idea in the first one - don't have a calibrated monitor, maybe comment again later.

lkkang #1 is very nice too, based on what i can see, but it may not be accurate.

i think kt's #5 is really out of place here.

i thought the picture's composition was a bit out of place in a generally decent thread.

it felt a bit too tight for me, with little breathing space esp at the bottom. also has vertical distortion issues, but that's besides the point.

the sky is nice though.

I see the bottom of the yolk in #4. Nice...
#5 and #6 seems like a bit off focus? Or aperture too big?

I think lens too long, vibration on the shutter and mirror has caused the camera shake. Should have "mirror lock up"...

I must have been influenced by some "fly" that has a "soul" :bsmilie:

hahaha... :bsmilie: Jokes aside, i find the shot pleasing yet the background trees are disturbing. Personal preference would be to clone off the whole background trees and apply some gradients to the foreground and background. If u wan emulate our dear thomas, i think u ask him better..

kuantoh - i thought i had mentioned earlier somewhere about how to resolve the banding issues.

you are using the d700, leong showed me that you can easily cover the viewfinder, has the function built in.

the banding is because of stray light entering the viewfinder, i did a confirmatory test, nowadays i don't experience banding anymore :)
