Itching for a sunrise for the past 2 -3 weeks. Managed to see some clearer skies today morning and went down with lkkang and zh3ng for a shoot this morning. Been sometime since going back this location.

#1 - Dawn. Vertical pano crop to bring focus to the S curve of the rocks.

#5 - Nice light falling on the jetty after sunrise. Been a few weeks missing blue skies.

Haha... i have been up early for the past 2 weekends only met with rain or overcast skies at 5plus am. Today was welcomed by starry skies so head on down. Thanks!

Nice sunrise you have here. Pic #1 from the reflection of light show strong current. :)

Love the pics! All of them!

KT,

Your first shot is
the stones lead the eye to the Jetty very well.

allow me to post some shots here :)
- something very similar to what you have took, I shifted my view towards the LEFT to avoid the bright spot light at the police post.

Welcomed to post. The thing i find abt punggol beach is that the stones are really cluttered and I was looking around for more significant foreground like stones forming a pool, or leading stones. Managed to find the few rocks. Cropped out the unnecessary rocks on the left to leave with the final composition for the first shot.

Not sure which shot u wanted for the settings, but if its the first shot, it was taken at dawn, 636am, F16, 107secs, 16mm. GND0.9 utilized.

All the shots minor adjustments for exposure in LR2. First shot was adjusted more to bring back some of the details in the foreground.

I see the bottom of the yolk in #4. Nice...

#5 and #6 seems like a bit off focus? Or aperture too big?

Thanks. Got sampan passed below but never capture it on time so saw the big one pass easier to capture. :bsmilie:
