ok, maybe I'll arrange another date.

I'll change the location to Changi.. if you'e interested, we'll discuss about this further.

i dun have flash :( although really hope to join

u dun need flash lah... in fact u can use your pop up flash, just use a tissue paper to cover the flash or buy a pop up flash diffuser to do fill light.

if u got a wide aperture (eg 50mm f1.8 or even f1.4), its good enough without any flash.

Can't deny that an external flash is really useful.. but it's not a requirement lah.. anyway, I'll contact you regarding the details if available.. :)

Be careful... with a wide-angle, if you go too close, you may distort the proportions. :)

I wonder if Prime Len 85mm overkill to shoot portraits?
or is 50mm more den enough?

both is good enough. u can use 50mm for half body shot, 85mm for face shot. :)

i am using tokina 11-16...

well that is y need to try out... of course i will bring along my 35mm.... only practice portrait shot wif my plastic model :)

i think u can leave home your 11-16mm... even at crop factor... its 17mm... not very suitable to shoot protraits, if u must, shoot at 16mm instead.

Your 35mm is a better choice.

what's tfcd outing ? :o

i am interested to try out in the 35mm lens :o but currently saving up money first :) might end up getting other things. so poisonous :embrass:

Both can, If you're talking about whether FL is too long.

Just walk a bit lor.. 85mm on nikon crop is approx 127mm on FF. The Canon 135mm F2L is a popular portrait lens.
