FAKE CRUMPLERS SOLD BY chinl0verZ circulating in buy/sell

Like what I said, fake or not we don't really know unless there is really some obvious differences. From what I see with my set and the original set, all I'm seeing now is factory defacts which are minor and only visible under close examination.

Of course, if I knew i was getting a "fake", I definitely won't be okay with paying $130. But since I've already bought it, no point crying over spill milk. Afterall like what I said, quality and workmanship wise is still there. We're afterall paying hundreds due to the branding effort that Crumpler has put into it's brand. That's the point I'm trying to drive across.

Hmm,$130 for a 'counterfeit bag' is expensive even if the quality and workmanship is gd.
Even if quality is gd then most it is worth at most 50-60% of the original one and definitely not the 87% of the original price.

If it is a 'fake' one then the hundreds that you are paying are obviously not going to the branding effort of crumpler but to some Vietnam or china factory owner and the seller who took advantage of the brand..If you tink it is just the quality over branding thing then you might be wrong here. If you are caught with fake product in europe, you can be fined. I read somewhere that a chinese tourist who has a fake adidas bag was caught and fined in europe.

Your 'no point crying over spill milk' apply to only yourself and those who have might have unfortunately brought it..There are still plenty of ways to resolve it (police, liasing with seller since seller might be a victim aso) and your 'no point crying over spill milk' method might not apply to all. Perharp the TS is not tactful enough in the wording but what he did helped raise awareness to potential buyers. Buyers might be more careful when they buy the bags and if they are willing to accept and believe the seller then that is of their own accord. Low post count does not nesscessarily mean that TS is not trustworthy. All he did was to try raise awareness,i don't see anything wrong with that. (Disclaimer: I do not have any relation with TS, just feel that his motive is good)

By the way, some may question my knowledge in bags manufacture.

Just know that I have been dealing with custom manufacturing of bags/packaging/garments for the last 5+ years in China. And I know my way around, and pricings and personally do a lot of inspections and QCs.

If you have a bag or strap, or packaging or clothing you want to produce and needs a manufacturer, feel free to PM me as well. I will point you in the right direction if I cannot do it myself.

well done~~ :thumbsup::thumbsup::kiss:

Getting fined in Europe is the least of your the problem. When going through Euro customs, they have the right to take fake items off you and confiscate it on the spot, even if it means it is the shirt, pants or underwear on your body. And they have done so, and make the offender buy clothes on the spot to change into, and to buy luggages on the spot to re-pack, while their fake bags and clothing are confiscated, ON-TOP of a fine levied against them.

So do take note, for those using fake branded items.

ehhh... I don't think we are on the same page here. :dunno:

When I got my 8mdh home from raffles city, it didn't come with the clear crumpler logo plastic bag. Instead, it came in a big white paper bag with the sticker label of the model, colour etc etc. I saw all the other crumpler in the same box, which was just delivered when I got there, had the white paper bag.

My crumpler rubber logo is also a little off-center.

With the discount I got, a 8mdh was just 190+ and 7mdh was under 150 at crumpler. However, had to order a day before collection.

Ya,that is what i am trying to say.
Buying counterfeit is not just a matter of quality and branding..
You might encounter some implication oversea where they are strict on this.
So if you are spending $100+ for a counterfeit bag that can't be brought oversea then it is overpriced and the seller is not honest by withholding detail on it. Most of the buyer would have been willing to send 20buck more for authentic ones where they would be embrassed or fearful of bring it oversea..

I mean that 'they would NOT be embrassed or fearful of bring it oversea..'

100% fake, as i've alr compared the original one with mine. i dont have to explain so much, like i said, its a warning.

as for the dude who say he dont mind, its also his wish.

u compared the original to urs? but u did not compare the original to his mah..
then how can u say his r "fake"? should be urs what..

Crimebuster bought his from the seller in question. So his is also the same as the sellers.

from ur posting, seems that u have ever buy 1 of his bag??did u look for him to clear things out?
it might or might not be "fake"?maybe some "rejected" bags or like what clarenze mentioned,AAA grade bags?from the photos,it does not look that bad la.furthermore from his thread,he never mentioned "fake" or "authentic" what.or did he use a huge lens to point on ur head to force u to buy?hahaha!he willing to sell at that price with that condition,u willing to accept n pay.as simple as that.
saw a few selling those collectable canon lens mug.i thought its limited qty released item by canon?so those selling in the market are "fakes" too?quick quick report report.haha!
do some homework before u buy something online.buy with confident.if buy liao cannot sleep, them pay more and buy from original source lor. :)

Your post count also very fishy.

Seller's ad say

Equipment Type: Bags
Equipment Brand: Crumpler
Equipment Model: 7 Million Dollar Home

Which automatically means it is a real Crumpler. 7 Million Dollar home.

If it is not a real crumpler, seller should specify on the WTS ad CLEARLY.

So question to you... are you the seller in disguise? :bsmilie:

bros, from the thread how do you know ther person selling fake crumpler ?

I dotn use crumpler, and i wont know its fake, it looks close to the real stuff.

Willingly seller and willingly buyer..
If the seller stated that his is not authentic prior to sale and the buyer know it, then there should be no complain from both sides..But in this case, seller deliberately or unknowingly keep the detail from the buyer resulting in 'goods not as described' issue. That is same as cheating or fraud.

huh? what r u crapping, obviously i've compared HIS crumpler with the original one lah. cant believe that u even posted this out. OH GOSH!

Thanks for clarifying DD123.

I just have to take it as a lesson learnt, the hard way. Anyway, those that bought their 7MDH from BnS, please check your bag too, as I know a few people who already sold off their bag after buying from him.

Well, if the bag works functionally, just continue using it.

Learn from this incident and move on. Just be glad it is a 100 dollar item and not a thousand dollar scam you got into.

Be mindful always, not just buying bags. But in everything like investments offers, business offers, etc...
