Idiotic tendency .

Actually it does not make difference.

spot on...
so the point is you don't really nid to ask for opinion to stop you from buying...
you shd ask yourself what would be the equipment tt you would utilize after your current equipment...

I have a tendency to buy new cam equipment . Anyone can help . The only way I can stop myself is someone telling me that the thing that I wanna buy sucks . Lol anyone with better suggestions ?

take photos instead of looking at gear.

i rather spend an entire afternoon looking at good photographs, than walking around funan or fantasizing about what i would do with throwing money into gear.

Lol seriously ah guys , do you prefer a 50mm or a 18-200mm for casual photography , as in candid those type ? I dunno the appropriate word , maybe it's street photography . Lol !

some guys will prefer 50mm

some guys will prefer 18-200mm.

Totally agree . Whenever I using com , I go see people flickr and find inspirations for my next random shots . Your preference ? 50mm normally used in lowlight , which I rarely occur with . Mybe I should just stop thinking about it.

Totally agree...I wud rather shoot more and post more for C&C to improve rather than spending time thinking what to buy next...still the same thing from TS's previous thread of buying equipment, I mentioned "there's no end to buying equipment"..I still stand by tat...
till now, you are still bugged by the same prob...

If you really can't give up the idea if don't try, then work hard and buy a 50mm f1.8 and see what it does for you...dun nid to ask for others' opinion coz even we say "they suck", you also can't give up that idea...50mm f1.8 is rather reasonable to get for its price...

i worked with what i had.

then when i found myself lacking in something that i really, really, really needed, then i bought it.

that was how i bought my 10-20mm, my 50mm..

the rest of my lenses are just (in all honesty) frivolous purchases because they were cheap, e.g. 24mm prime for sgd20 on ebay (tack sharp), 28mm prime for that price thereabouts, and the tamron 70-300 i have was on clearance discount @80GBP (when the rates were 2.50ish). :) oh, and the fisheye was just a reward for myself, i guess.

In my opinion, a 50mm prime is good when you're going out with friends, taking candid shots etc because its lightweight and not bulky.

Topic's aside . What do you all suggest I can do for the June holiday?

Your D90 and 18-200 is sucks.....so sell it away. :bsmilie:
