A call for volunteer photographers II


Please include me. I may not use a Pentax camera, but I do use Pentax lenses. Being retired, my services can be called upon for a good cause anytime.
 

Will be most happy to volunteer if the opportunity allows. That is if you are willing to use a beginner.

No problem with non-Pentax users... A number of Nikon volunteers had done le petit prince's event.

I have emailed my contact in Pathlight all the questions we might have, and I'll post regular updates here once I have anything.

Just to refresh :)

Conditions and restrictions are pretty standard and reasonable:
* NO posting online of any photos you take at the event, especially of the kids there. I'm sure you understand why. (Note the school will approve and release some post=event photos for publicity, but we can't put up anything unless we get approval.)
* Need to have your NRIC, full name, contacts etc. for record purposes and acknowledgements/credits - will be further confirmed once date is nearer.

You can check out this - le petit prince organised this volunteer photographer event and you know what the photographs would be used for, of course the photographers would be credited too! I'm just following up on this yr event since he's away =)

Apologies. A little confused as it wasnt stated clearly in the thread. Just the link of last year's event was given. So it's by the Autism society?

Anyway i'm still keen, do keep me updated if you need more helpers.

I suggest you start by releasing the draft plan of the event with time and how many photographers do you expect to cover them. I am unsure the need for such a long time but there must be good reasons. Lighting plays a key role to determine if flash is needed and the type of lenses. How about parking? Registration? How eventually you want the photo to be given to you etc....Start populating your plan here for the volunteers.
