How do you send large mail attachments?

Hi,

How do you normally send large attachments? Were there any restrictions on the size of your files that you going to send?

Came across this product from google search "Justattach" (www.justattach.com). Will that help in your work/workplace?

When using this method, make sure the recipient has enough space to receive it ;p else you will "bomb" his email account.

upload to yousendit.com and send the link instead. No need to worry about email account file size limitation.

YouSendIt.................... below 100MB is FREE, bigger than this, spit it into a few zip files and send one by one.

if it is confidential, break it down with rar........... or password lock it, whatever.

if want to handdeliver, wasting your time asking here........ just burn into cd and deliver it personally or pay a courier.

WinRar, WinZip... all those password protects are for kiddies. If you're sending confidential stuffs over, make sure it's protected with something more powderful.

Look out for words like AES, RSA, PGP, to give you an idea. Not going to give a lecture on encryption here (it's a bit too late at night for that anyway) but password protect is not much use against someone a bit determined to open your file (unless they've changed the systems in the last 5 years... )

Precisely. 25Mb limitation.
That is why, like so many before me has mentioned, I compress all the several files (could be photos too) and send it across via yousendit.com.

So convenient.
