What's the difference between 2 seater F-15 and single seater F-15? The pilot of the single seater is equal to 2 pilot from the double seater?

Thanks and regards,

The 2-seaters in the picture are F-15E models. Known as the Strike Eagle, its used mainly as a strike aircraft, carrying precision bombs and air-ground-missiles to hit ground targets.

The single-seaters are F-15Cs, used exclusively as an air superiority platform by the USAF, for fighting enemy fighters.

Very nice! Its rare to see a pic of 2 aircraft landing in opposite directions, at different airports in the same photo.

BTW, does anyone know why do the heavies frequently land at WSAP/QPG from the north regardless of wind direction?

Im not sure whether is there any fly past. but defintely if there is, there wont be 4 planes flying past. haha. Many of the antennas on top of the fuselage is for military radio use. e.g. UHF signals. the rest is all classified. cant say more. haha.

there are few systems which has already been removed from the original config. maybe u can find out more during the airshow. ask our frenly technicians there.
Are some of the E-2C Hawkeyes taken out of service already? 012 and 015 are still operating the last time I had spotted at Jurong West.

Mike, from what I understand the CAAS designated RWY for both Standard Terminal Arrival and Standard Instrument Departure (SID) is RWY 20 and RWY 02 respectively in the case of WSAP

Aircraft flying in both IMC and VMC are radar vectored into RWY 20 for the final approach from Papa Uniform DVOR/DME at Pulau Ubin by default unless the speed of the crosswind or tailwind at the aerodrome exceeds the aircraft specified operating limit (~ 10 to 15 knots tailwind limit for most airliner). :)

haha... didn't realise that :)

Not to mention the SQ 777 which is from the same Boeing stable!

Thanks for the info on WSAP Orion, it answers lots of my questions.

Procedures should differ for RSAF aircraft as their flight accessibility through Malaysian territorial airspace is extremely restricted. Though there is a transit corridor through the Straits of Johor within the Singapore FIR (Flight Information Region) it seems the RSAF still prefer to approach from the south.

Thanks for sharing the photos, Dolina. :)

Had a ride on one of those PAL Express Dash 8 with what I assume to an inop propeller synchrophase system, turns out to be the most annoying flight in my life.

Your welcome. What I like about those propeller planes is that they travel under the clouds and fly slow enough to do great aerial photos.

Frankly speaking, im not sure whether is it classified to say out. as u know, MINDEF is strict about this sorta stuff. but i can say that E-2C is currently transiting to G550-AEW. expect lesser flying from them. cheers :)

anyone has any idea the type of aircraft and its company?
i found 2 conflicting types (Dassault Falcon 900EX and HS900XP) and no information on the company.
thanx in advance.

VQ-BPH (C/N. HA-0108) is a Hawker Beechcraft 900XP with the Dassault Falcon 900 being a trijet aircraft and significantly larger in size.

Formerly registered as N6408F with the FAA (details under "Deregistered Aircraft 2 of 2"), current operator unknown.

HTH. ;)
