Don't flatter me, I'm gaining new knowledge every single day just like everybody else. ;p9V-Orion Images sure knows his stuff.
Considering that Singapore has the world's busiest port and the greatest density of aerodromes and runways per land area than any where else in the world, I would have thought that there will be a greater interest in aviation and maritime photography among the population. :think:Its alive !!!!!! Almost turned Blue from holding my breath. Thanks for the resuscitation...Making Defibrillators easily available is a great idea. :bsmilie:
Thank you!nice pics of the Dolous!
Having sailed the seven seas for the past 95 years and being recognised by the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's oldest active ocean-going passenger ship, the Doulos would have hold a special place in the hearts of millions of people, it certainty did for me in a sense it was the first ever ship that I ever set foot on back in the '80s when I was still a little boy.
Unfortunately the Doulos will be decommissioned by the end of this year as it was discovered during a survey conducted during Doulos recent annual dry dock inspection that over 10 million worth of steel replacement, repairs and modifications, taking at least 5 months, will be required to keep it in compliance with international maritime law for it to sail through the 21st century.

Sunrise behind Doulos at its final port of call, VivoCity, before being decommissioned on the 31st of December 2009.
Silhouette did not work out as expected and which thus resulted in the amateurish HDR attempts.
