Im not sure if this should be posted here, but I really need an answer to this. I have really old 4R size photos which I want to reprint, in a bigger size, say 8R. Is there any labs that could do this? How much? What is the process? Do they scan the particular 4R photo and enlarge it? if so, doesn't it deteriorates the image quality?(because i don't really want to compromise image quality)

Thank you so much! It would really help! :)

hmm...

#1, most digilabs offer such service.
#2, some just scan and print, some offer little touch up, best call and ask for quote
#3, of course need to scan it, else how to digitize it?
#4, quality? depends on how much effort put in at the scanning, cleaning up and enhancing the digital file. $$$ talks.

you can also post a thread at Services Wanted to look for people to do for you.

hope this help.

if you just want to reprint them, not digitize, it would be great to get the negatives if they are in good condition cos the quality won't be compromised unlike if you scan and enlarge..

Thank you for the information people! it really helps a lot! :)
