Hi guys,
I trust that I have not as yet given you reason to ban me :bsmilie:
Right now you may wish to though.
I am not about to leave the issue about model safety/awareness simply be frozen.
I posted a point in a short lived thread where I stated .....
"The girl in my avatar is a model and a friend of mine"
If I was to know that some perv treated her in ways mentioned here, he would not be standing"
Maybe worded slightly different, but the gist was the same.
The feedback from a MOD was "So ?"
This MOD was not even up to date with what was in his/her forum and the answer was "So ?"
To expand on my views if you care to read ....
This lovely person in my avatar (that I am proud to display) it a good friend of mine.
She (Ali) is a model; would hate to think that she (Ali) was treated the same way that some models obviously are being there.
If any perv asked her to do such things I can assure you that he/she would need assistance to walk.
It is one thing to simply dismiss the post with "so" , but it is another thing to not offer a discussion on the problem.
We have heard from MODS to this point and it all seems that the problem is too hard to deal with.
I and I think many others would like to hear it from those that really do have a say,
"ADMIN"
As a side issue, I have been a happy member of CS for a few years to date.
I have directed people interested in photography to this site as I feel it is the best and most honest (if you can take some harsh feedback :bsmilie.
I would like to continue to do so, and would be even more proud to do knowing that CS makes a stand on model welfare.
You guys were passionate enough to raise an airfare for a model.
So why not raise a hidden forum or alike to deal with the situation?
Cheers
