scammer!! read all photographer and video man

Just came across this forum. This Christopher Liew is a person i have done quite a few corporate photography jobs for, and he does not come across to me as a scammer. In fact, he's not that bad a person really. Sure, there have been one or two delays in payment, and even a bounced cheque on one ocassion but he has always paid up eventually. I know of some other event companies who still owe me money till today. They're even worse!
Not siding with anybody here but i believe that many of these event companies do run into their own payment delays and financial situations too, as do all of us the same. I for one, would not mind still doing jobs for Christopher and his company if he calls, or for that matter, any event company. It's my rice bowl at stake too.

as for the rest of us, i think we all know full well what to do. so, most of his jobs will in the end, go to u. u shud b the happiest and surely u'll get very loaded with assignments and cash.

I was cheated by him recently! he asked me to delivery things to him and give a check, but the check it bounce back from bank stated that account is closed. i tried to called him several times. he always said he will contact me and never do that!

Yesterday i reported to police and they classified as a cheating case. Also i will do claim in tribunal court soon.

This guy start cheating at least from 2006, i did not know why he can not be punished.

He used up the lies, and he will never answer the phone which he knows after him for $$$!!!

Lies includes: grandma die, grandpa die, bank got problem, posted the cheque but postman lost it, no cheque book now, haven receive money etc........ the best part, client's dun like the pic, which is lies cos the client pay already.

I dunno who u are, but whatever u do, be careful abt him.

U may wonder why my colleague, becos i have given up on christ, so my colleague who are more patient take over.

good for you bro but unfortunately mine still havent settled yet, i have another hearing with him this coming 22nd Jan at the subordinate court again (I was together with fotoudavid last week)

hopefully mine can be settled by then as well, if not a summon should be issued out if he does not respond or appear at the subordinate court this coming 22nd again like last thrusday

My case was settled, he transfered the amount in full yesterday.

Whether he paid the rest i do not know, but from another forum, we concluded Christ been reading both forums, and thus paid up.

There was another forum person trying to gather at least 10 bounce cheque and victims to lodge a report in Police, so that the number of victims can prompt the Police to action.

Criminal case if intention to cheat was established.

My advise, go to small claim court for settlement, so that at the very least, should be able to carry some items.

So Mike, as your amount not low, i suspect he will pay you bit by bit, i advise you do not accept such arrangement, as one bitten twice shy, up to you.

For people who are still claiming, and want to join forces in going to Police, please PM me, i will forward all the contacts to another person, he will be handling. Do note that direct contact number and email with whatever case dated from when to when in details, so that i can consolidate and pass to the person.

I do not know whether can i join the group, as my case settled.

My case also be settled today, He is very eager to pay money to me! as i did not call him to pay money to me after i reported to police. he suddenly sms me and told he will pay me in full, i toild him i'd like police to handle this issue. he still quick pay me.

From others post here, seems this guy had pressure by us due to things we did (report to police and tribunal court).

Others, if you still can not get your money, Please do as we did. even if i got my money, if needed, i'd like to be a witness in the court.

Keep Doing, Nail this guy down, he deserved to be punished!

ANY way, I afraid he would play some tricks, Please be alart on him.

For whose who already got payment, Please also reported to police. So that we had record and he cannot play trick easile (offence is good defance). also let the police officer has some idea of this guy, and next time if he cheat others again, the officer would remember him easily.

although he paid, but does not means he did not cheat us. this only means he did some right after he cheated us. So, if you need, I can go with you to report again.
