if youre looking to impress with lights on reflection with the canal, increase more exposure time it may become more artsy. think you need to work on your composition, seems like the canal and the trees on the left taking too much focus(rather boring).

Maybe my mistake. My LCD screen too dark. Haha.

Haha.. It's okie! I was still wondering to myself if I push up exposure by 1 stop, I might not be able to see my dog anymore. All white! :)

Dress your lens up with a doughnut or a distracting camouflage. dun use direct flash, bounce it. or get a really long lens 300mm so you can hide one corner for an ambush.

My dog is really smart. He can sense that I am trying to take a photo of him. 300mm lens? No money and I dun see myself using it very often. I am saving up money for either a flash or a Tamron 17-50 f2.8. 17-55 is too ex for me.

WTH, ninja boy again....=.=...Haha...Composition is great, just try to feel the picture and have a message behind it. You'll get it right.

You've got some well composed pictures over there too.

Take care. Keep up the good work!

Composition for me, landscape lover, I like it to be panorama. If it not pano when taken, I will cropped pano my pictures.

Basically, I think composition is what you want your pictures to tell to your audience. If you intend to focus on a subject in a complicated scene, that your focus must be on the subject and the rest i.e. the background are blur = shallow DOF.

This is just my opinion, it may differs from others. There's no photographers that take a picture with the same composition, that's what I had noticed from my walkabout shoots with my friends. :)

One shot that I just taken to try out my new wired remote :D
