The Sweet Spot, Singapore
Shot this near Aljunied. Lifted my head and saw the cross along with the blue sky and attempted this shot.

I hope to bring out the fact that to some people, their religion is their everything and when they look up, they don't just see the sky but something more meaningful.

C&C welcomed :)

nice.

the ratio of your picture frame is 7:5 yea? try cropping it to 3:2. it may look better:)

EDIT: oh oh oh. and try to straighten the cross. hahaha

Somehow i felt if it was straight the effect wouldn't be the same. Same thing, i'll take note of the ratio.

Thanks both bros for the kind comments :D

Please, explain the preference for the tilted cross. If you are shooting architecture, the rule of thumb is to get your horizontals and verticals right. Learn the rule before breaking it. Here the cross looks like it is toppling left-wards. I'm quite sure it's not a very nice way to compose a cross photo.

The text...it is a bit hard to derive the link between the text and the image, considering there is no distinctive divide of light and darkness. I personally find the divide between a white cloud and blue sky not nearly enough to translate as light and darkness.
