Hi, Just wondering if anyone has used the above lenses for wedding or event shots? Any sample pictures to share?

Why would you want to lower the image quality using a super-zoom when you're doing such critical events?
actually, if you're new, i dun suppose you're gonna be e actual official photographer right? correct me if im wrong 
18-200 will do fine. it did for me when i used it together with d50.
of cos as zac08 said, don't expect great image quality and tack sharp shots.
but it'll suffice lah if you just wanna capture the mood and moment. since it's fast, convenient and light.

i dun think that lens is good and fast enough. Its just a good all rounder.
for good and sharp, f8 and above is acceptable, that why I dump this lens and get a better one.
i attended a indian wedding in the beginning of this year and the photographer used an 18-200mm throughout.
if you are comfortable with using 18-200, with a good flash, you should be able to make the best with the given lens.
to the layman, they wont emphasize so much on the sharpness of the pics but rather the composition and content of the photos.

Weddings I prefer f/2.8 17-35mm or 17-55mm because I don't want to compromise the quality. Else clients might want their money back haha nah jk. But 18-200 why not, it's your shot.
