hi guys,

I have the photoshop CS2 (edu version) on my old IMAC G5 (power pc) and I just got the CS3 edu version. I unintalled the CS2 by deleting it and I ran the adobe cleanup script but I still can't install CS3. Everytime I double click the setup icon, nothing happens....

oh no I just realise I am running Panthe OSX 10.3.9. Don't tell me photoshop cannot support panther...

if I am not wrong it only works on the new intell Duo core chips or just call the Mac center to ask

I check the specs and it said it supports POWERPC G3/G4/G5 BUT it does not support panther which is like XP in the windows world.

Adobe is really quite terrible. First they stop supporting CS2 camera raw and their CS3 does not support the earlier version of OSX. It is crazy, it is like not supporting XP once vista is out.

Anywae it also happens to window users haiz they are worst than mac. Aperture raw updates for new camera are supported for 1-1.5 but see adobe products expensive than mac you get 588 for aperture but adobe costs may reach near 7000 sometimes.
