hi guys,

i have a problem with colour calibration of my com using spyder 2 express. after i successfully calibrated the lcd monitor, i rebooted the com (not due to the calibration process)

by right, after the bootup and loading to desktop, the calibration data shld be loaded and the colours appear better. but nowadays 10-15mins after so, the screen suddenly loses the calibration. even though i tried reloading the data by clicking this file in the colourvision folder, the colours do not return to normal.

it also happens if i open up ati tools to overclock my graphics card, the calibration is lost as well. i didnt change any colour settings in ati tools at all.

what;s going on and how can i resolve this problem???

thanks

You using Windows Vista?

If you're using windows (XP, I think Vista too), you'll find that you will lose your calibrated-ness (hurhur) once you resume from standby or hibernation. Seems to happen when coming out of some 3D games (like the bioshock demo) too. Can't confirm this one though. It's very irritating but I don't think there's any solution to this so far.

yes i am using XP. but this happened only recently and during the initial loading of programs. it didnt happen before after i swopped the heatsink for my gfx card.

Are u using ATI radeon gfx card? Spyder2express cant load with ATI as the catalyst centre will overwrite spyder2express.
