Source from PentaxWorld forum, Pentax K10D was just chosen as the Camera of the Year 2007 by American Photo Magazine
Ruggedness is an advantage that sets professional SLRs above lesser models. The very affordable Pentax K10D erases that distinction, though. Pentax's top D-SLR delivers pro-grade weatherproofing for hundreds, even thousands, of dollars less than other models with similar clodding. And none of those D-SLRs offers the K10D's combination of image stabilization, automatic dust removal, and in-camera RAW 'developing' made possible by a powerful new imaging engine.

K10D has previously won two other awards:
"Camera Grand Prix 2007" in Japan
TIPA's Best Expert dSLR Camera Awards 2007
Seems like Pentax K10D is sweeping most if not all awards even when 2007 is just half passed
