Nikon Cutting Cost ...

Just heard from a guy saying that Nikon maybe decide not to make anymore Big aperture Lens like 135 F2... etc All those F2 series.. Is it true or pardon mi if this was an old news..

Those lenses don't sell that well anyway, stop production also good... but don't think it's due to cut cost.

What is the difference between stopping and ceasing production? Isn't it the same thing?
