Dear Clubsnapians ,
I don know nutz bout camera n would like to get a USED digicam to take pic for surfing , which is better canon or nikon ?

My budget not more than $1500.00

point and shoot (for consumers) or dslr? =D

bridge cam then,
try panasonic fz series
or canon s3 is
or sony h2
should work for you =D

friens of mine using canon 350D for his wakeboading pic , looks really sharp n nice ... wat u rekon ? thx .
 

Resolution has to be at LEAST 8.0

all those i recommend is 6 mgp good enough for common prints

you need 8 mgp?!

Pentax K10D + sigma 100-300 or 80-400 OS.

Can't remember which sigma lens is for Pentax mount... gotta find out first.

not really, if you read up a bit
you'll find out that image quality does not correlate to megapixels on paper
sensor quality and size does play a part too! =D

Unless it VERY VERY used or has some kind of MAJOR problems with it! :bsmilie:
Photograhy isn't as cheap as you think. There're afew price guides in CS to give you a better picture (Pun intended :bsmilie: ) of what kind of equipment you're looking at. ;)

ok , but i need fast continuous shooting function . Subject traversed bout 20-30 km/h .
