yup, that exceeds ur budget, for wakeboarding i suggest u stick to a compact camera as i find that its more easier, unless u intend to be the event photographer and juz take picture while ppl wakeboard?

taking from land arr...300 kinda short...guess u need 400 or 500 lens...
