if more buildings light up, it will make photos nicer to take, instead of some sporadic fireworks only...hahahahah

from where i was, all the photographers were so shock at the 10pm one.
everyone saw the first spark being so small, some people dont even shoot cos we are all using wide angle. then one slightly bigger "boom", everyone click and then there's nothing.... everyone so stun and just stare and hope there's more. then realise no more. so pathetic.
then 11pm one also like that. all sian already. 1130 nobody expect anything out of it. i even saw a few photographers just fold their hands and watch. not shooting at all. hahaha.
midnight one is only so so. pales in comparison to the sff.
somemore this year shoot from buildings... i was hoping it will be something like the hong kong harbour type... really really disappointed...

for the 10pm one, I thought that it would be much nicer, a real firework, that they started firing then got problems, so they could only fire a bit there.
then, for the 11pm one, I thought "what's going on here? Can it be 2 problems in a row?"
yah, I really thought it was technical problems that they started and got stuck or something and couldnt continue, really didnt think those shots were actually what they intended :|

It would be more spectacular if more buildings were to take part in the "appetisers".

the fireworks were so pathetic yesterday. Ended up I have to do lots of cropping to my pics.:cry:
although this was my first attempt, I'm quite happy after processing them with PS. hehe... technologies can really do wonders.;p ;p

at first i have no idea which building the fireworks would take place. Then i saw the first fireworks started at 10pm, i know where it is i reframe shoot one shot and ... no more. I was stunned ! what happen?
If they just announce 4 fireworks show, first 3 last 10 second, last one last 5 mins. I would have skip the first 3.
However, the city shot is nice with all the lighting effects. So thumb up for city lighting.
