overbilled is one thing...
i got billed for extra services which i do not even subscribe to...

- the outdoor wireless
- spam filter
- email virus scan

so nice of them to add such service to my account without my knowledge!!
and is additional of 20 over dollars loh....

it comes wif it free for the first 3 months when u signed up....subsequently, it is ur call to tell them to cancel if not they will charge u...accordingly.

;)

no need.... hope to tap on the free internet acess.......:bsmilie:

er.. be warned in advance.. someone had already being charged in court for illegal wireless tapping.. the fine imposed was much expensive than getting a line.

my side is provided free by singnet....it is meant for people on the move...

;)

Called up Singnet just now. They mentioned that they are in changing from post-paid system to a pre-paid system, hence the higher bill amount this month.

hmm... thought its always pre paid than post paid? oh well... those who have plans are always at mercy... ;)

Got a Singtel singnet bill.
It was over charged.
Way over the top.

called 1688
got stupid digitised voice saying they go through billing changes.
It assured me the bill is correct too. :bsmilie:

went to Hello shop to complain.
the Singtel staff say complain no use.
he also knows. he asked me to pay up and hope Singtel will adjust the bill later.

which Minister do we complain to?
will the one in AMK do?

why is Singtel allowed to overbill millions of customers and expect them to pay up a horribly over charged bill?

why did this not make it to STOMP or the NewPaper?

Can the AG or Accounting head honcho fine Singtel so they will not do this again?
so that heads will roll inside Singtel for doing this?

If they have an internal exercise to rectify their accounting process, it is entirely their internal matter.
it should never be an excuse to KNOWINGLY OVERBILL millions of customers.

if they cannot get it right, then don't bill yet.

Careful, the total population of Singapore is only 4 million roughly.

yo TS! tis is wat i mean in this thread that im actually asking that lead me to wanna end the contract fast! heng heng i decide to end my tis contract next mth

thanks, I should change that to hundreds of thousands. :)
then again, some people got 3 handphones.
then again, singtel got customers in India and Australia?

Anyone with upper hand willing to bring up this matter??? The least singtel should inform us in advance rather suddenly being slapped and told later.
In the billing they did mention about one time adjustment (after slapping u with the amount).
It's very general statement and does not explain in detail what's is going on.

Nabei.......... SinkNet and StarHum.. What's our next choice.. sigh..

dun hold it against the CSOs , they r at the front line answering the the nuclear fallout from the customers as a result of the policy makers
and they r not highly paid to face the music.

poor fellas

think singtel billing dept (1688) is bombarded this mth :bsmilie:

i also got shocked but when i called them, it's just an adjustment of subscription fees, so basically instead of paying past bills, e.g. this month is Nov 06, so this bill is basically saying, we are now prepaying. e.g. paying December 06's subscription instead of Oct 06 which makes sense becos fone bills are to be prepaid mah. my only question is, why implement now and who is the idiot in singtel who proposed this ?

then i checked further, supposingly only for handfone but not internet, but i see the changes are being reflected in my internet instead ??

* Note: Adjustments will apply to Telephone, Paging and Mobile services only. Internet services such as SingNet and Magix are not affected.

Why is SingTel making this change? SingTel has replaced its existing billing system to keep pace with industry developments.

You will notice some changes which you will find useful in reading your bill such as:

Discounts and rebates categorised separately.
Free items are indicated.
A summary page showing payments and adjustments made during the last bill period.
