Hi guys, here's my wish list of features of future multimedia player. I opt out digital camera cos i want to use this as a companion product to my camera. hopefully some manufacturer will see this list and start thinking.

1) 4 inch high res LCD monitor,
2) thin and lightweight,
3) runs on AA batteries,
4) 40 GB storage,
5) multi card reader,
6) stero speaker (like the PALM T3),
7) USB 2.0 and wireless (bluetooth/WIFI) transfer,
8) MP3 player,
9) long battery life,
10) portable
11) Weather sealing
12) radio,
13) low cost (less than 800 SGD)
14) ....

please continue, guys
 

Wow...so many features..how can it be less than 800SGd...

hmmm.. my idea...

a) 4inch plasma screen
b) thin and lightweight
c) removable lithion batteries for longer life
d) hmm.. 40gb might not b enuff for me.. maybe a 80gb ?
e) firewire transfer
f) compatible with iTunes/WMP
g) weather resistant
h) radio on control or on console is fine
i) s-video / rca out
j) phone jacks to support professional head phones
k) interchangeable skins
l) docking station (similar to iPod)
m) touch screen controls
n) metallic stainless steel, smooth curvy ergonomical design
nA) holographic controls or screens.. lol... jk jk

i guess tats about all la.. for me if the product is build upon these specifications den the pricing will be sure above 1k since its a PLASMA we are talking about here... hahahaha...
 

Support Video-In with recording and plays most of the popular video standards w/o problems. :cool:
