For the past few months, I've this thinking that most of my shots will turn out underexposed. I sent my film scanner for service and Canon S'pore concluded there's nothing wrong...I even considered getting a LCD monitor to replace my aging monitor in a desperate bid to ' improve' my image...

Until yesterday, thanks to YS' tip-off, I spent S$490 to learn that most of my used to underexposed shots are okay exposed! Phew!

Yes, this is an ego thread...so I just wanna say YEA... ;)

so your $490 was spent on what exactly?

To hire a panel of judges to determine whether his shots are underexposed or not. :D

might as well buy a 2nd hand Nikon Body with matrix metering ;)

I can tell whether exposure 'correct' with a $30 lightbox from Ruby...

A professional colour corrected, brightness corrected, 10 x 15" lightbox.

I am guessing Adam finally bought the Colorvision Spyder to calibrate his monitor ....

Excellent metering. Fooled by nothing except heavy backlight and snow.

And I'd go for a Minolta with 14-segment honeycomb metering
