The only Leica R body that is built like the M-series, with the best possible viewfinder you could get in a SLR - built like a tank and handles extremely well.
There were only 1,020 serial numbers allotted.

Mechanical operation - completely fine, no problems.
The only cosmetic flaw is a tiny ding on the corner of the viewfinder prism.
Price $600 . - low considering that I've seen the body sold for $2,500 at peninsular shopping center.
Mechanical operation, with a basic 'needle' light meter, and flawless metering performance.
It can be used or kept as a collectors item - remember this is a fully mechanical camera that can operate without the meter so it's best to keep shooting.
Comes with SL2 Mot Manual, voigtlander body cap, strap and thumb-release.
