Anti-flare 0.85 MP viewfinder. If you want Leica to replace the VF of your M3, you will get the VF of M6J. Uncluttered and unbroken framelines. It's a dream to just look through the VF.
It has a brass top plate, which will not develop bubbles like the regular M6 in the long run. Officially, only M6J, M6 TTL black paint, M6 TTL safari, M6 TTL last 999 and M6 TTL Titanium are reported to have the traditional brass top covers.
40 sets were made for each year from 1954 to 1994. I spent years tracking down a M6J with a S/N of 1990 in Japan. It will be a great personalised gift if you were also born in 1990. And it the lucky 6 of the 40 sets for 1990.
No lens (I am not a fun of the 50 Elmar 2.8) and body only.
RFS: I am using two M6 TTL. Since the speed dial of M6J turns in different direction of the M6 TTL, I began to reach less for the M6J and eventually decided to let it go.
