Detailed Description:
This scanner has only been used once so it is in excellent condition. But there are 3 small, light stains, one visible and the other 2 discernible on closer inspection. These stains would not affect you if you were printing 35mm, medium format or large format up to 4 x 5. But it will reduce the number of strips (by one) of 35mm negatives at any one time. I have not managed to erase them but another person might.
Because of the stains I rate the condition as 8. Otherwise, it would be a 9+.
