Detailed Description:
Reposting as potential buyer went MIA.
- This is the second version of the 28mm f2 by MS-Optics
- It is lighter than the previous version (apparently anyway, because both are light) but it does have heft
- Central sharpness is improved over the previous version
- For me a big draw was the close focus as this lens is rangefinder coupled to 0.7m but focuses to 0.3m using live view.
About this copy:
- Lens body/exterior is rated 9.5 (one very small user mark which inevitably arises when mounting the lens/storing the lens with the focus ring at infinity)
- Optics are 10 (clean and clear)
- Comes with front and rear caps, hood, box, instructions and a 28mm Kenko UV filter with its own case (which took me a while to find)
- Purchased August 2018
