It even works well with TC1.7 which is only available in Nikon for 508mm and the resolution performance is on par with the Nikon 200-500mm f5.6 at 500mm.

This is an ideal lens to pair with Nikons D500 for shooting action and wildlife. Perfectly handholdable for extended shooting.
