Selling this lens as i have upgraded to the 70-200VRII. Facts about the lens:
Optics & Mechanics
- optics is in excellent condition!
- the AFS motor is in great shape and is fast and accurate.
Cosmetic
- one or two very minor user marks on the lens body
- a rub mark on the tripod collar
- lens hood thread has a minor dent
- lens hood has some user marks on it
Comes with box, caps, hood, and original carrying case, but the manual was lost. Will include a free 77mm B+W UV filter to be used for this lens.
Instead of getting the older one/two touch AF80-200/2.8D, just pay slightly more and you get:
- faster and more accurate AF
- superb optics, very sharp picture and nice color rendition
- will AF when using motorless body like D3100, etc
- will AF when using TCs like the TC 14/17/20E
Rating: optics is a 10, lens body a 9, and lens hood an 8.
