FEATURES: With a host of features, it will take you 
quite a while to read through the EF-530s instruction manual. One interesting feature is the High Speed Sync, which allows you 
to fire the unit at shutter speeds above your cameras usual 
flash sync speed. The unit can be used as a master or slave 
unit and also offers a wide-angle flash diffuser.
User Comment:
Flash condition is a wonderful 7-8 marks. Its been used but only on occasional situations, but its never been worn out nor abused. Flash diffuser though not turned yellow like so many other ' branded ' flash guns, but there are signs of usages. Battery door hinge can shut firmly and properly, however, when removing or inserting batteries, have to exercised more caution as this door hinge is meant to come off easily when pushed hard, as it was designed to accommodate external battery connections. Guide Number is 53m. Very reliable flash, NEVER overheat like those branded names, and built like a tank, and hence, it can withstand the rough and tough of outdoors. For those unwilling to put your original expensive flash gun through overseas or outdoors abuse, this is the one flash you should be taking with you!
Sigma is one of those very few stubborn manufacturers whose products are made ENTIRELY out from their Japanese factory. They don't believe in outsourcing their manufacturing and becos of this, Sigma flashes are very well made and MADE TO LAST!
