they should have stuck to the Asian Aerospace brand name.. AA organisers were a lot more organised.

It's not a case of whether we could have kept the "Asian Aerospace" brand name in Singapore.. AA has now moved to Hong Kong, which is why this "Singapore Airshow" is the first of this name.

I had not been there.....any how.
how was the situation for car owner who drive car???

Speaking of private jets, did anyone linger in the Falcon? It was a cool respite from the heat. :bsmilie:

well we did spend some time in the gulfstream luxury jet. soooo wonderful until we realize the 14 million price tag. :bsmilie: the airbus A380 was closed no entrance. would have been fun to roam that one!

Heard that sometime in the late afternoon on Sunday after the aerial display, people do get to go on board the A380 ... is it true? My girl was so dissappointed that entry to the A380 was "on invitation only" :(

wrong comparison, unless percentage of deals made at the airshow contribute to the organiser's income. The figures only show the amount of deals that were made

i am not sure if the organisers get a cut from the deals. I don't think so. Their main source of income should be derived from the rental of space. Deals sealed would be incentives for the vendors to sign up with them again for the next show.

I have yet to head back to the Airshow since I ORD-ed. Last time, I was a PA to a commander. So I could follow my towkay go for trade-day. They treat everyone so much better. Entry was a breeze and free. You really get to see some of big spenders shopping for their luxury planes. The vendors are really nice, got so much free gifts and even given got drinks and snacks. That time was the competition between the eurofighter,f15 and Rafael. They see RSAF personnel they will take time explain and give us drinks.hahaha.

Now, no point going for public day show, must pay and queue. Plus, most of the vendors would not be able close deals with the public so their attitude change. Some even pack and go home liao. It's really not worth going.
