The 2nd Women@Work Photo Competition and Exhibition (2002) is an unique opportunity for members of the public to take a closer look at women workers in their midst.

The twin objectives of this collaboration between AWARE and PSS
(The Photographic Society of Singapore) are to further the appreciation of photography and facilitate a better understanding of women's complex roles in society.

Launch Date: 8 March 2002
Competition ends on 17 May 2002

As part of the competition, a series of free workshops and talks have been organised to inspire both the budding photographer as well as the professional!

Surprise Yourself – With Point and Shoot Cameras By William Ng
30th March 2002, Saturday, 2pm
Lecture Theatre at the Singapore History Museum (former National Museum)

This talk presentation will take ordinary folks, with ordinary compact cameras, and show how you can extra-ordinary photos. The talk will encourage the audience to overcome the mindset that you need good expensive cameras to get good winning photographs.

William Ng is a professional commercial photographer. He won the prestigious UK based MPA's International Master Photographers' Award 2001. He is the second person outside Europe to have won this in the history of the award.

Maybe...school being forcing us to take up aall these competitions.....now even the Great Eastern have to join,...as school project... sux. =P
 

i even developed my 8R for the Life is great thingy but lazy to go send it.
