Is there any functions in Nikon D50 that can trigger wirelessly to my SB800 to trigger flash??? or do i need to buy a wireless radio trigger ..???

if you want CLS, not sure if SU-800 works. 
else full manual remote trigger is possible for D50 with SB800.

There are a few ways to do it:
1) Set SB-800 to SU-4 mode (press/hold Sel, navigate left, select SU-4, non-iTTL method)
2) Get a SU-800 and set up SB-800 to do CLS (press/hold Sel, navigate left, select Remote, sync the channel/groups, i-TTL/CLS)
3) Get another SB-800 and set up SB-800 to do CLS (press/hold Sel, navigate left, select Remote, sync the channel/groups, i-TTL/CLS)

If u r referring to on-camera remote commander, no D50 do not hav dat.
U can however use e SB-800 mounted on ur D50 to fire another SB-800/600.
