as a photographer, you should be able to form your own judgement about some models ... for me, this model has that classic face where not many models have, probably because of her mixed heritage...... i believe a lot of photographers here can do a lot of magic with her face/look (though her pose has still got a lot of room for improvement).btw, why do you say that she's actually worth shooting for? is she some kind of celebrity and the price is right? is she posing nude?
from the way she presented herself it seems that she's a veteran as well.as a photographer, you should be able to form your own judgement about some models ... for me, this model has that classic face where not many models have, probably because of her mixed heritage...... i believe a lot of photographers here can do a lot of magic with her face/look (though her pose has still got a lot of room for improvement).
.....celebrity status, able to do nude, low price, etc... these are not my main criteria to consider... .
eh... btw, is this model based in SG? after going through the pictures of her, i noticed that one of them was shot by my friend from Penang.
hehehe... either she went down there for a shoot or he came here for the shoot.
I think it's an UNSAFE and UNFAIR DEMAND on several levels:
SAFETY
1) No photographer worth his (or her) salt would ever give all the pictures to a model or company. Reason being that there will bound to be bad shots in there somewhere. These may work against against photog.
2) Refer to #1 - Shooting a sexy female model you may sometimes accidentally capture some err ... 'sensitive' (in the Asian context) parts. These can be mis-constured and used against you legally. Also, even if the model/co is super nice and trustworthy (is she a life-long friend or someone you know you can really trust?), model or co may accidentally leave files around, leave HP lying ard, leave cards around and potentially damaging photos may get leaked. Tammy NYP is an example. Probably more bad things can happen than in Tammy's case ... like it can be used to blackmail model or co, and photog is somehow involved. You know how luan these things can get ...
3) Connected to #1 - Some shots may not reveal anything, but may simply be real bad. What if later model becomes celebrity, and there were some old pictures (the bad ones) that were leaked many years earlier? Then photog's reputation kenar tarnished, and even if you were not directly blamed, you somehow get connected to it bla bla bla ... ok la, this one maby a bit kiasu, but you never know ...
4) Bad judgement - humans do that sometimes, and what is deemed suitable or great by one may be damaging to another. Why risk a bad choice of photos where your reputation (or future reputation) may be compromised?
PROFESSIONALISM, HONESTY AND FAIRNESS
5) It's a PAID shoot. Unless model is willing to give a hefty discount for stipulating such a condition, it doesn't seem like a fair transaction unless such conditions were stated right from the beginning.
6) Professionalism and transparency - If such conditions were stated right from the beginning, at least photographers can take those into consideration and make an informed decision. At least that's being professional, open and honest about it, instead of hiding it till discussions get to the later or confirmation stage, then sprout the hidden conditions. It would be much worse if such conditions were unleashed after confirmation or later.
But seriously, how many photogs would then want to engage said model, unless she's so super duper chio/mesmerising/will elevate your portfolio like no other model can. Chances are, that's why it was hidden till later. Not very nice to do business or to treat people like that la.
It's understandable if the model is of super-celebrity status, and the managent/agent realises that they can manipulate/bully/sukar sukar change T&Cs even after agreement, but this doesn't seem to be the case.
And even IF it were a TFCD, do have a peek here:

Disclaimer: I have no idea which model is involved, so some of the above comments may be irrelevant.
The model is " i'm inherit korea and chinese blood.
i'm conversant in english and chinese dialect.
i'm active and enthusiastic."....
The PRICE agreed, which is market-rate.
The place decided, in the 5-star hotel studio suite room and agreed by both model and photographer.
Finally, the model has a condition, that is: the photographer MUST download ALL the photos taken for the model to her laptop. In other words, the paid model will have a copy of all the original files taken for that day.
Now, will you shoot under such a condition?
I decided not to go ahead .....
what is not clear is who pays who.
knn ... mia suan la. .... my standard where got ppl pay me to shoot ....:bsmilie::sweatsm::sweat:what is not clear is who pays who.

ot but who's tammy nyp?
Err ... she was a young girl (in Nanyang Polytechnic) who had a sex session videotaped on a handphone, and the vid got spread round the world when she lost the phone or when it got stolen.
OK ..... I must clarify here .... she didn't say she wanted the ORIGINAL raw files of the images .... but a copy of ALL the images.
But since I dont use laptop as well as since i am in a foreign country (and I have only a couple of free hours) , it's obvious that i need to download all the files to her laptop.
I believe if i have the time, she will be willing to wait and to accept my converted files. Probably what she needs is just a copy of all the shots taken for her own keeping.
So bro, please dont blow up the matter until so ugly la ..... she is actually worth shooting for. Go support her if you are ok with that condition!
