I watched a documentary on Discovery Channel about an experiment that went as follows:
- 2 groups of people were shown jokes while sitting individually in front of a monitor
- all participants did not get to meet each other
- Group A was asked to hold a ball pen in their mouths using their lips like they were sucking a straw.
- Group B did the same thing but held the ball pen using their teeth causing their lips to part, exposing their teeth.
Everyone was asked to rate the jokes.
All were shown the same series of jokes.
participants in Group A consistently rated the humor of the jokes LOWER than Group B.
Conclusion: our sense of humor or happiness is a direct function of our facial expressions.
If one frowns and hangs the corners of our lips down, we will tend to feel more negative.
If on the other hand, we have a smiling expression, we tend to view the world with more humor and positivity................ and these feelings are a result of our facial expressions AND NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.
Happiness is a choice.
So how does this affect our photographs and participation in this forum?
Choose well .........
enjoy!
