Hi! All. When i set my Sony H50 to shutter priority & increase my shutter speed to the max 1/4000, the LCD screen gradually becomes darker. The same thing happens when i switch to Aperture Priority. Anyone can explain to me why?

Of cos it will, such a fast shutter speed and small aperture (i presume), it will definitely be darker due to less light passing through to properly expose an image.

Unless u're taking in very bright sunlight.

Prob an exposure simulation mode for the live-view image..

Please read up on photography basics, namely exposure.

What are you shooting at 1/4000? A bullet in-flight?
I hope you know what is going on when the shutter speed is 1/4000s.

I think TS is just testing out the TV mode, and playing around with shutter speed..

btw, i think 1/4000 also not enough for bullet flying..:bsmilie:
