why external flash didn't trigger

Hi,

I use a Canon 30D with Emoblits external flash. Can somebody help as why it sometime trigger and sometime not.

please be more specify.

is your external flash mounted on camera hotshoe or off camera?

and have you check your batteries is fresh or fully charge?

and also did you wait for the flash to be fully recharge before fire the next shot?

Try cleaning the contact points also.

Yes to all your questions, catchlights. Its mounted, battery charged, on indicator lighted but the flash just didn't trigger.
