Unless you're thinking of switching to FX someday (to future proof), or else you don't really need the 14mm.

I guess it is stupid to buy another body fx just for the 14mm, right?

another way is to look for older nikon lens that maybe cheaper. Not talking about the 13mm

Because it's difficult to make glass with large curvature and with lots of optical correction for distortion.

You are are correct. This is physics. We just do not notice it but you need more effort to focus with our own eyes on nearer object. Try focus on near objects with a wider angle and your will understand the correction needed. That is why there is CRC - Close Range Correction (in older lens and they state that). Today it is not stated because this is taken for granted because it is a norm.
