The original is no more there. The stall seems to have been taken over by someone else.
The original laksa seller is Jangut who sell his laksa in a shed beside Roxy Cinema in the 50s-60s (50 cts per bowl). It then moved to the corner coffeeshop at Ceylon Road and was manned by 2 brothers related to the original laksa man. Years later they had disagreement with the coffeeshop owner and set up stall in the coffeeshop beside the overheard bridge.
