What shops to buy from depends entirely on what brand you're looking at getting. If you're fixed on Gul, find out which shops distribute it and buy accordingly? I think Living Seas, for example, deals in Gul.

To the rest: titanium is used to line the inside of some wetsuits to make them easier to put on as well as improve on insulation.

Seems that titanium wetsuits are hard to find in Spore cos expensive ($300+) and demand is prob low. The only place i;ve seen these are the lucky plaza shops. You may want to call the shops listed in the finsonline website as suggested by discolite cos the dive shops are scattered across spore!

Maybe you can check out scubapro - think they have suits with a smooth coating inside to make it easier to wear. Some other brands also have similar features. Or you can try suits with ankle and wrist zips. Acronman can modify your existing suit to add zips at $30 per pair.

Oh dear... yes, do look up the shops database I linked and do your rounds from there.

Some advice: many shops are conglomerated in the same area, so you can do walking wetsuit excursions. For example, if you're in City Hall, you might want to go to Friendly Waters, Living Seas, Divers Dreams, Deep Blue, Blue Wave, and Simply Scuba all at once. If you're in Bugis/Lavender, try Scuba Corner, Waikiki, Richmond, Oceanic, Darman and the one opposite Beach Road. Orchard - go to Lucky Plaza, Silomini, Dive Atlantis, Aquaterra.

The specific addresses? Look up the database!! Don't be lazy and have us do all the work for you!

That's what I heard too...that they may be blinded which leads to their deaths as they cannot look for food and cannot escape from their predators... it's darker in the sea... hence a sudden flash may just blind or scare them....

a word on titanium. I personally dun think the extra cost is worth the "extra insulation" . Get a hood. It makes you look like a cu-cu, but it really prevents heat loss at a fraction of the cost.

Wetsuit insulation comes more from the seal around the neck, arms and legs, and then thickness. I think material used is an over-rated marketing gimmick from the manufacturers.

i think 3mm and fitting wetsuit should be quite enough for tropical waters. titanium seems to be too expensive and not worth it. you might want to buy another piece of rashguard (dunno spelling right or not) and wear it underneath your wetsuit for night dives or early morning dives, which can be colder than night dives. or just get a thicker wetsuit la.

Emmmm... I'm using a nikon F80 and a canon S40... No casing yet.... Those casing are very expensive for the F80.... And the casing for the S40 is okie but then will need to buy strobes.....
