As per subject. Any recommendation for a good and light one for travel purpose?

im using Siriu N1004 + k10x ballhead..

u can consider Siriu CF series for lighter tripod..
maybe if u could tell ur budget, others might give better advice..

I'm hoping to get CF series as well. Is sirui considered best value for now?

I'm using China brand weifeng WF-593H... I think got this around 120ish or 130ish... it it comes with ballhead also. Not that very light one but so far it handles my A33 + Tokina 80200f2.8 just nice...

there are a few brands that u might want to look into such as benro, manfrotto and others

sirui offer a competitive price for its tripods..

i bought the Sirui R1204 with K10X ballhead.. without the ballhead, the CF tripod really damn light, but put on ballhead liao don't feel so shiok lah.. hehe..

R1204 + G10 ballhead. Light enough for travelling , strong enough to hold a gripped C 5D + 24-105 / 70 - 200

Maybe 200-300 range? If I can find one from classified even better

With you budget, you can easily get a CF tripod with head., eg R1204 + G10 or G20. R1204 + G10 cost $260 only.

I have a Sirui R2204 with K20 ballhead for the heavy stuffs and a Sirui T1204 with G20 ballhead for travelling.

Served me well ...ie: no hesitation in bringing the tripod along (because it's too heavy) and I've long since forgotten about the price ! :)
