which lens better?

1. canon 85mm/f1.8
2. canon 100mm/f2.0

3. sigma 70-200mm/f2.8 (2nd hand $900 , ex or not?)
price quote i got for brand new is $1290....

feel like getting one of the above...
wonder what's the price of the number 1 , number 2???

wld like to take more of concert photo...which lens wld u all recommend?

The Sigma is good!
The Zoom would be handy. The price for the 2nd hand is not bad if it is in a mint cond!

I can't comment on the Sigma zoom, but having used both the Canon primes, I can say that they are superb lenses. Optically they are excellent, and the AF is lightning fast since they are both ring-USM. Additionally, they are quite small and light and much easier to carry compared to an f/2.8 zoom.

I'd go for range...the Sigma one...heard good feedbacks though I never used it

Though I am a Nikon system user, I would recommend you choose one of the prime lenses

Personally i would go for the 85 1.8 if you do not like using flash and do it with available light, hand-held.

The zoom is versatile but the size will require you to use flash or else fuzzy pictures at slow shutter speeds.

Pick between the 85 or the 100.
