wow mr haagen, would you happen to have some viewing site for your classic

try looking at rangefinders.
easy, light, discreet.
but its film (not digital where you can shoot alot alot)
and unfortuntately i dont have a site =) sometime in the future perhaps

There are so few landscapes in SG for 17-40L, until I go to China.

slowly build lor... but i kinda regretted after getting the 24-120 VR cos i can't wait for the 18-200 came into the market... din know its so affordable... but i nvr regret buying the 24-120...

i also upgrade from a SB600 to SB800 while still keeping the 600 as spare. also play ard using nikon CLS

i somehow felt its the joy of slowly upgrading ur set up... who know's someday i ended up hving a set of nikon trinity... (probably would cost me more than a hand and leg). my ultimate aim was to get a D2X one day, but i guess i can't reach there... probably a D200 should be fine as of now...

bottom line is (i feel), see what type of pictures you are interested to take, den buy the lens to suit your style. no point buying a ultra wide lens to shoot birds.
