There is black dot through the 10D view finder with and without the lens mounted. I tried to clean it by using a hand blower on the mirror and sensor and I wiped the view finder. However the dirt is still there and I could not find it on the mirror or sensor. I shake the camara a little and it looks stuck on that same spot. Any idea where should I look or clean it. Anyway my photos aren't affected.

the dirt should be stuck on the focusing screen. DO NOT CLEAN or TOUCH the focusing screen yourself. if it realli irritates you...visit canon service centre...pay 30sgd w/o gst to get the focusing replaced.

by the way...the focusing screen is not covered under warranty

Try using a hand blower and blow the focusing screen, located above the reflex mirror. Give it a few good hard blows and it should come off. Same thing happened to my 10D too. If all else fails, do NOT touch the mirror or focusing screen, send it to Canon Service Centre for cleaning.

Thanks guy. Will try to send for service later.
